I'm 36 (aries/pisc.), married to my high school sweetie and we have two great kids (10yr-boy, 12yr-girl). I am an artist(drawing/painting/graphics/sculpting,etc) and graphic designer. I have been involved in various art forms since childhood--sculpting, drawing/painting, and crafty work. Reading (non-fiction/art books), gardening, hiking, target practicing, anarchy,repurposing/DIY/recycle/enviromentalism
*** Artist Statement***
Art is for me is a nostalgic feeling that connects the visible and the invisible. I draw and design highly textured abstracted scenes and figures with pen and ink, acrylics, or mixed media. In my works, I try to transmit the love and respect of previous times and my attraction to the mysterious and hidden layers.
I prefer to concentrate on subjects which puzzle and poke me, causing inner thoughts that need to be explained. I aim for my work to be as timeless and provocative to the viewer renewing views about social and personal priorities. I enjoy to explore past concepts, often forgotten, aspects of reality and dimensions. I explore scenes and objects that recycle themselves into new territories. My way of creation is a extention of myself to be shared with others, because I consider beauty an absolute value that relies on the creator to emphasize its essence.
